Overview
WAC6500 시리즈는 802.11 ac 규격으로 2.4GHz와 5GHz를 동시에 지원하는 Concurrent Dual Radio 방식의 기가 무선AP 입니다. WAC6500시리즈는 스마트 안테나 기술이 탑재된 지능형 무선 AP로써 클라이언트의 무선 환경을 자동으로 분석하고 최적의 안테나 패턴을 적용하여 호텔, 병원,학원, 카페 등 사용자가 많은 무선 네트워크 환경에서 최상의 무선 네트워크 구축이 가능합니다. 단독형 모드와 관리형 모드를 모두 지원하는 WAC6500 시리즈는 별도의 설정없이 AP 사용방식을 자동으로 선택하여 쉽고 빠르게 무선 네트워크를 구축할 수 있습니다. 또한 자이젤 무선AP 컨트롤러 인 NXC 시리즈 또는 무선AP 컨트롤러 기능이 탑재된 Next-Gen USG 시리즈와 함께 사용할 경우 중 앙에서 다수의 무선AP를 관리할 수 있습니다. 특히 컨트롤러 기반으로 무선AP를 사용하다가 AP에 장애가 발생할 경우 주변 AP에서 무선 신호세기를 증가시켜 Dead Zone을 자동으로 복구하는 Auto Healing기능을 통해 무선 네트워크의 안정성을 향상시킬 수 있습니다. 그밖에 무선 네트워크의 범위를 확장할 수 있는 ZyMesh 기능과 편리한 무선 인터넷 환경을 위한 Smart Antenna, Dynamic Channel Selection, 로드 밸런싱, Client Steering, CAPWAP 등의 기능을 제공합니다.
802.11ac 차세대 기가비트 Wi-Fi 속도 지원
WAC6500 Series의 경우 차세대 무선 규격인 802.11ac 표준 기술을 탑재하여 5GHz 주파수 대역에서는 최대 1.3Gbps, 2.4GHz에서는 최대 450Mbps를 지원함으로써 최대 1,750Mbps의 데이터 처리 속도의 안정된 기가비트 무선 네트워크 환경 구축이 가능합니다. (WAC6503D-S 기준) 또한 기가 LAN포트를 탑재하여 유선을 통한 기가 네트워크 확장이 가능합니다.
Smart Antenna
WAC6500 Series는 Smart Antenna 기술을 적용한 고성능 무선AP입니다. Smart Antenna 기술은 사용자의 위치와 현재 무선 네트워크 환경을 분석하여 2.4GHz와 5GHz에 각각 적용되어 있는 700여개 이상의 안테나 패턴을 지능형 알고리즘에 의해 클라이언트에게 최적의 안테나 패턴을 적용합니다. 이러한 Smart Antenna 기술은 주변 AP에 의한 신호 간섭을 최소화하여 학교, 호텔, 병원 등 채널 간섭이 많은 장소에서 최적화된 무선 네트워크 환경을 제공합니다.

2.4GHz & 5GHz Concurrent Dual Band 지원
WAC6500 Series는 MIMO(Multiple Input, Multiple Output)기술이 적용된 2.4GHz와 5GHz 두 개의 무선 주파수 대역을 통해 향상된 속도와 더욱 넓어진 통신 범위를 제공합니다. 하나의 주파수 대역을 선택해서 사용하는 방식이 아니라 두 개의 주파수 대역을 동시에 사용하여 어떠한 환경에서도 타 무선 장비와의 주파수 간섭을 최소화 하여 최상의 무선 인터넷 품질을 보장합니다.
최적의 무선 네트워크 환경 제공
WAC6500 Series는 사용자를 위한 최적의 무선 네트워크 환경을 제공하기 위해 Dynamic Channel Selection(DCS), Load Balancing 그리고 Smart Client Steering 기능을 제공합니다. DCS 기능을 활성화하면 최적화된 무선 채널을 자동으로 선택하여 전파간섭이 많은 네트워크 환경에서 중첩된 채널로 인한 신호간섭을 줄일 수 있으며, 관리자가 각각의 AP의 네트워크 트래픽과 연결되는 사용자의 수를 제한할 수 있도록 LoadBalancing 기능을 사용할 수 있습니다. 또한 AP에 접속하는 사용자의 신호세기와 2.4GHz와 5GHz 중 어느 주파수를 사용하는지 감지하여 가장 가까운 AP로 최적의 주파수로 접속을 유도하는 Smart Client Steering 기능을 통해 안정된 품질의 무선 인터넷을 제공합니다.
쉽고 빠른 무선 네트워크 구축
(APFlex™ & ZyMesh & Dual Image)
APFlex™는 자이젤 무선AP가 네트워크에 무선AP 컨트롤러가 존재하는지 검색하여 단독형 또는 관리형 모드로 AP 사용 방식을 자동으로 결정하고, IP주소를 스스로 설정하는 기능으로 네트워크 구축시간을 단축시킬 수 있습니다. ZyMesh 기능을 이용하여 유선 케이블 작업이 어려운 환경에서 별도의 케이블링 없이 무선으로 네트워크 확장이 가능합니다.
향상된 하드웨어 성능
알루미늄 실드로 전자기 간섭 발생을 최소화 하였고, 방열 패드를 통해 내부의 열을 케이스로 전달해 전달된 열이 케이스 전, 후면의 에어홀을 통해 외부로 방출되어 제품의 안정성과 내구성을 높였습니다.
